Please remember my nephew Brian and my whole family. He's currently in JCMC's Children's hospital. The doctors aren't sure what's wrong but they're leaning towards either meningitis or encephalitis. He's very lethargic, delirious, and in considerable pain. He's only 7 and he doesn't understand what's going on or even where he's at. What's killing us is that all of his tests are normal. And trust me, they've done every test imaginable. It is breaking our hearts to see him go through this and not know exactly what it is we're fighting.
So please, the next time you have a free moment, remember Brian and offer up a prayer for him because he needs it so badly. We want him to come home and be the little boy he was before this started. Thank you so much.

I hope Counts doesn't get mad at me, but I'm pretty sure they med-flighted his oldest girl out last night after some difficulty/loss of blood with tonsil surgery last week. Please pray for her and the family.

How is Brian doing?

He's doing better. I talked to his mom last night and she said the doctors are now thinking it might be cat scratch disease. He's still on meds for meningitis and they've sent off some lab work to find out exactly what is going on. I should know more tonight. Thank you for asking.

I will keep your family, aswell as Counts in my thoughts and prayers. My family may very well be witnessing a miracle with my cousin Shane. No matter what doctors say, God is the greatest physician, and if it is his will to heal, he will be healed. Even the doctors at Holston Valley are floored at what they are seeing.

Thanks guys (It was her) she is OK now. She was just the 1 in 20 that experences bleeding after one of those.
